From one email to a live site.
Every step, drawn on the one thing it changes: your first screen.
Six steps, in order.
Email
Write a few lines: the product, a link to your current site, when you need the new one, your budget. The reply comes within one working day.
Written proposal
The studio sets out scope, pages, price, timeline and revision rounds; you agree them before work begins. Invoices are in USD: a Sprint is paid 100% up front, a Custom Website 50/50.
Direction
Product story, home-page structure and art direction. As a Direction Sprint it takes 5 working days and gives you two distinct directions and an interactive prototype of the first screen.
Build
Visual design, responsive code and interaction to the agreed extent. A Custom Website usually takes 2–3 weeks — most of it is your review time.
Measurement
Before launch, the site is checked by measurement: speed, accessibility, and whether it works with JavaScript turned off.
Launch and handover
Help with deployment, domain, redirects and meta tags, on the host you choose. After the final payment the code, the design and the repository are yours, with instructions for the site.
